When I photograph, I search for the essence of what is in front of me.
I look for the thing that unites its kind, and try to find the key element for every frame.
If I’m standing at a concert with a camera in my hand, my main focus is not on achieving
perfect sharpness or a technologically impressive picture. My focus is the energy that
fills the venue. I capture what it feels like to stand on stage and to be in the crowd.
I rarely edit my pictures, and most of them are presented in their rawest form.
Keeping it that way is how I bring people back to the moment when the picture was taken.
My work exists to help people remember what it felt like, or give those
who weren’t there a piece of the experience.
Most of my work is done with a Canon EOS 550D
Based in Stockholm.
